So! The chat. Pretty disarming. Check out this solid, if not slightly outdated guide to the chat system. It doesn't go over the RP tab as a whole, but I can go over that in a separate post if you like. Basically, if you read both posts in that guide, it'll give you a crash course in the chat, and let you know what's up.
Roleplaying on a forum is pretty fun! You're lucky you stumbled across a community that is not only one of the largest and most active text-based roleplaying forums on the web, but one that seeks to challenge its users, as well as nurture them! If you want some tips and tricks in the art of writing, check out our Role Play Academy, where you can get some one-on-one assistance.

As you get started on the website, feel free to dive into the Community section of the forums. That's the best place to not only get your first ten forum posts out of the way so that you can send private messages, but it's also where you can get to know the users that you'll be writing with!
When you feel ready to start browsing open roleplays, you can click the "Roleplays" tab and look that way, or check out our "Interest Checks" and "Roleplayers Wanted" subforums, where more specific requests reside.
Explore the forums, don't be afraid to get lost, and don't be afraid to ask questions!
