Builders, architects honored in this year's Parade of Homes

An assortment of builders, architects and interior designers were recognized for their work in this year's 18th annual Summit County Parade of Homes, which runs today, Sunday and Sept. 29 and 30.

In a reception Friday night at the Silverthorne Pavilion, Naill Construction swept the awards in the remodeling category for the house at 31 Pinnacle Ln., Dillon (Home #5); Verdigris Group won Best Overall in the duplex category for the structure at 568 White Cloud Dr. (Home #15) in Breckenridge; Carlson Builders won best overall in the Tenmile Peak category for the home at 24 Taylor Trail in Frisco (Home #18); and Raptor Construction and Todd Webber Architects took top honors in the Red Mountain category for the home at 1246 Bald Eagle Rd. (Home #2) in Silverthorne.

In the Torreys Peak category, the best overall award went to architect Janet Sutterley and builder Ivan Stanley & Associates for Home #9 at 1337 Soda Ridge Rd. in Keystone.

The best overall award in the Quandary Peak category went to bhh Partners and Pinnacle Mountain Homes for the house at 411 Long Ridge Dr. in Breckenridge (Home #10).

This year's Parade of Homes features 20 properties in Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, Breckenridge, Frisco and Copper Mountain. The mix includes duplexes, remodels and single-family homes.

builders.org/ will also receive a free one-year subscription to Mountain Living magazine. Each ticket may be exchanged for a wristband ? which is good for both weekends ? at any of the homes. Programs also are available at visitor's centers and area real estate offices.

Proceeds from ticket sales are donated by the Summit County Builders Association to The Summit Foundation.
